A personal introduction from Brooks Newmark...
I live in the heart of our constituency with my wife Lucy and our five children. I am an active member of our local community and I am proud to have been elected to represent you at Westminster. Like you, I share a passionate concern for the welfare of our country and our local community.
I want to see a society where people have greater freedom and more opportunity. In particular, I want to get the Government off people’s backs. This means giving people greater responsibility over their own lives; whilst ensuring that we give greater support to the vulnerable in our society, especially the elderly.
As your MP I will defend the interests of local people and the independence of our country. I will be a strong voice for Braintree. I will be a strong voice for Witham. I will be a strong voice for all our communities.
